How to apply for an I-20 or DS-2019
We know that preparing for graduate study in the U.S. is a big decision that requires a lot of planning. In order to better assist you with what’s ahead, please review the information below regarding the I-20 or DS-2019 process at NJCU.
After you receive an official offer of admission, you will be asked to submit a completed I-20/DS-2019 application.
The application has three parts:
- Online data form
- Affidavit of sponsorship
- Transfer form (only for students currently in the U.S. on an F-1 visa) If you are currently in the U.S. on an F-1 visa, you must submit copies of your current visa and I-20.
Once we receive your completed I-20/DS-2019 application, we will work with you to ship your documents to you.
You must also submit the following items:
- Entrance Health Record (required for all NJCU students)
- Housing Application (required only if on-campus housing is needed)
